About

Hi! I’m Courtney.

I’m a dreamer and a drifter, a thinker and an adventurer. I’ve lived in 6 different states and 2 different countries (so far) and traveled to countless others. Along the way I’ve had the opportunity to study various interests – from Architecture and Government to Psychology and German – and work in a bevy of different industries – Capitol Hill, Big Oil, National Parks, and Insurance, just to name a few.

I seek adventure in the everyday and search for simplicity among extraordinary experiences. Though I’m a restless wanderer, my passion for family, friends, and faith keep me grounded.

In trying to make my own path through this crazy and wonderful world of life, I’m learning more each day about grace. I’m glad I’m not in it alone and am blessed to to be surrounded by abundant love in my wandering ways.

Thanks for joining me on this journey, friend!

  1. Hi Rachelle,

My name is Paige Wallace and I am a Ph.D. student at Florida State University.

I’m emailing you because my current research deals with maternal writing specifically in digital spaces. I’m working to build a digital archive of maternal stories. I believe that some of your posts qualify as the kind of maternal writing the archive is focused on (stories with a focus on pregnancy and associated experiences).

I’d love if you would check out our site where you can see some posts are already archived. We take a screen grab of each post to preserve it in its original form and also link back to the original blog. The website went live in the last month and we’ve already received over 200 visits. As you can see the project is only now in the baby stages (pun intended) but we’d be honored to archive posts that you’re willing to share with us.

You can check out the homepage for a brief rationale behind this project and you can find a more in-depth explanation of the project in the blog post titled “The Archive: How and Why it Began.”

    Thank you for your consideration.
